Ashleigh Madison is the founder of Southeast Law, LLC, which she launched in Savannah in 2014. She attended undergraduate school at The University of Georgia, and law school at Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. After graduation, she returned to her hometown of Savannah, where she began practicing at a large law firm, helping those who had been injured. She went on to be named a partner in that firm, and worked in that role for three years.
Ashleigh has a wide range of experience with bench and jury trials in Federal and State courts, including receiving the highest recorded jury verdict in the State Court of Fayette County, Georgia in 2009.
Favorable judgments include achieving the highest recorded jury verdict in the State Court of Effingham County, Georgia in 2014.
Distinctions include being honored in the Fulton County Daily Report’s Hall of Fame for receiving the top verdict in Georgia for breach of contract for $4,000,000 in 2014. Ashleigh has also been recognized numerous times by Super Lawyers Magazine as a “Rising Star” (2006, 2009-2015) and a “Super Lawyer” (2016 –2019). In 2012, she was selected as one of Georgia Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite” for personal injury. She has also received the highest possible “AV rating” by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the rating for professional ability, expertise and ethics.
Ashleigh is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. In the state of Georgia, she has been admitted to practice in the following courts:
- State and Superior Court of the State of Georgia
- Georgia Court of Appeals and Georgia Supreme Court
- Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Georgia
- Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals
She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, the American Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, Savannah Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice and the Bench and Bar Committee for Savannah. Ashleigh has also served as a special invitee on the Southern District of Georgia’s Federal Advisory Committee.
